What is the Territorial Army Exam?
Territorial Army is a part-time voluntary force of the Indian Army that provides an opportunity for gainfully employed citizens to serve the nation while continuing with their civilian professions. It acts as a support force to the Regular Army during emergencies, national requirements, and operational duties.
The Territorial Army Commission Examination is conducted to select eligible and capable candidates for Officer entry into the Territorial Army. Candidates who qualify the Computer Based Test (CBT) are further called for the SSB Interview and medical examination process.

Qualifying Marks
The Territorial Army Directorate has the authority to decide qualifying marks for the examination. Candidates are advised to score well in all sections to improve their chances of selection.
Negative Marking
For every wrong answer, one-third (0.33) marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. Questions marked for review will be treated as unanswered.

- The examination is conducted once every year.
