Getting into the DRDO requires a lot of hard work and efforts. The Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) conducts the SET examination to recruit scientists for the Group B position each year. Apart from the SET exam, the organization also conducts the DRDO entry test to recruit the eligible candidates for the technical posts available within the organization.

The exam is conducted in two parts i.e. Tier I and Tier II exam. Both the Tier I & II tests are computer-based MCQ type examination. The first examination is known to be a screening test, while the second one is known to be for the provisional selection. The candidate gets 120 minutes to complete the Tier I exam, whereas he gets only 90 minutes for the Tier II examination.
