ABOUT NMIMS NPAT

NPAT stands for NMIMS Programs After Twelfth. It is an entrance exam conducted by SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admissions to undergraduate programs. NPAT is specifically designed for candidates who have completed their Class 12 education and wish to pursue undergraduate courses in various disciplines such as BBA, BSc (Finance), BSc (Economics), B. Com (Hons.), B.A. (Hons), BBM, Liberal Arts and others offered by NMIMS.

This arrangement allows candidates to plan their exam attempts effectively within the specified time frame.

BBA (International Business) ✓ Minimum of 60% aggregate marks from any stream.
✓ Candidate has to complete 2 years at Mumbai campus and 1 year at Kingston University, London.
✓ A minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 80, or equivalent is required for those for whom English is not their first language or do not meet 70% and above score in English Language.
  • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they must obtain the required minimum eligibility criteria of the respective program and produce the entire necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
  • Age: The maximum age limit is 25 years of age.

NMIMS NPAT FAQ-

What is the highest score in NPAT?

There is no as such highest score in NPAT examination. Students who score between 80 to 90 are considered to have scored pretty well.

Does NPAT have negative marking?

No, there is no negative marking in the NPAT examination. The question paper is divided into three sections – Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Reasoning and General Intelligence, Proficiency in the English Language.

Is the calculator allowed in NPAT?

No, calculators are not allowed in NPAT.

How can I check my NPAT result?

Following are the steps by which you can check your results:

  • Go to the official website of NMIMS NPAT – nmimsnpat.in
  • Click the ‘Result’ tab
  • Click on the course which you have appeared for
  • After this, enter your ID and select the date of birth from the drop-down menu
  • It is better to take a printout of the results for future endeavors

Is maths compulsory for NPAT?

Yes, candidates who wish to sit for NPAT examination should have maths or statistics as their compulsory subjects in class 12th or equivalent examination. This is mostly required for the admission to BBA, B.Com, or B.Sc (Finance).

What is a good score in Npat?

As per the previous cutoffs of several colleges, a score between 85-87 is considered to be a good score.

How do I prepare for Npat?

Get through with the syllabus and devote equal time to all the sections. You can also refer to some of the books like – Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by R.S. Aggarwal, Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by Abhijit Guha, Magical Book on Quicker Maths by Tyra. Also, you can get yourself into a coaching institute for better guidance. If you live in Mumbai, you can join the classroom sessions of Study Campus.

What is NPAT exam for?

NPAT examination is conducted for admission to the courses like BBA, BBA+MBA and other integrated and undergraduate programs which are offered by NMIMS, Mumbai. This examination is conducted in May.

Is NPAT crack easy?

Yes, prepare all the chapters thoroughly and revise before the examination, and you will surely crack the entrance test with ease.

Is NPAT tough?

No, no examination is tough if prepared in the right way. Prepare the chapters thoroughly. Get well versed with everything; you will surely clear the exam with high marks.
