About MAH B.Ed CET
The Maharashtra B.Ed Common Entrance Test (MAH B.Ed CET) is an entrance exam for candidates seeking admission to B.Ed Courses in various Government Colleges, Government Aided Colleges and Private Colleges in the state of Maharashtra, India.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor Degree or Post Graduate degree with Minimum 50% Marks for Open Category 45% marks for Reserved Class in the stream of Science and Mathematics/Social Science/Humanity Sciences/ Commerce etc.
- Bachelor Degree or Post Graduate degree with Minimum 55% Marks for Open Category 50% marks for Reserved Class in the stream of Engineering/IT/Medical Science/ Social Work/Mass Media/Statistics/Fine Art etc.

Open University:
- The candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree given by Open University Incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.
Appearing Candidate
- Candidates who are appearing or have appeared for the Qualifying Examination (Under Graduate/Post Graduate) of the Academic Year are also eligible to apply for MAH-B.Ed. CET.
Age Criteria
- There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.Ed.

The On Line MAH B.ED CET Exam comprises of one paper with three Sections:

- The Test will comprise of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions with Four Options.
- There is no Negative Marking System for this Test.
- Test Duration: 90 Minutes
- Medium of CET: English and Marathi.
- Mode of Examination – Online
SYLLABUS
- Mental Ability (40%): This test will contain questions based on Series, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Analogies, Classification, Problems on Dice, etc., either in Verbal or Non-Verbal form.
- General Knowledge (30%): Current Affairs including, Science and Technology, History, Geography, Civics, Political Science and Literature in General along with happenings in the surroundings at Local, National, International Level including Past Events.
- Teacher Aptitude (30%): It will contain Questions related to your keenness to update your knowledge, leadership qualities awareness about changes in Education and Society, Communication and Professional Commitment etc.

ABOUT ELCT
Candidates need to apply for MAH B.Ed CET ELCT (English Language Content Test) at the time of filling MAH B.Ed CET Application Form, if they want to take admission in English medium colleges.
The exam of ELCT will be conducted on the same day after the MAH B.Ed CET Exam, The syllabus of ELCT is as below:
