Eligibility, Marking Scheme, Exam Pattern, and Syllabus
To apply for a B.Ed course from an elite university, you must have completed your graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. CUET B.Ed, MH CET, IPU CET, BHU UET, and CG PRE BED are some of the B.Ed. Entrance tests that are conducted across the country. The marking scheme, exam pattern, and syllabus will not be the same for exams conducted by different universities, so you should check the details properly before applying. The CUET B. Ed exam, for example, tests aspirants in two parts. The first exam part will consist of objective questions, while the second part will have descriptive questions. Candidates who clear both parts are called for the interview for the final screening.

Educational Qualification
- Those who are applying for the CUET BEd Examination must have graduated with at least 50% marks.
- Those who have completed their master’s degree in disciplines like Science, Humanities, or Social Science, and acquired a degree in technology or engineering, can fill out the application form and apply. Those specializing in Math and Science with at least 55% marks may also apply for the exam.

Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have at least 50% marks either in the bachelor’s degree or in the master’s degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
- Bachelor’s engineering degree or a Technology majoring in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or related qualification.
- Candidates with a minimum of fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/ or in the Master’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with a concentration in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equal thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

B.Ed. (Nursery)
- The test will be made on the written test of 85 marks, consisting of multiple-choice questions. The test consisted of the following: (1) General Intelligence/Ability test of 30 marks, (2) General Awareness of 30 marks, (3) Teaching Aptitude of 25 marks.
B.Ed (Special)
- This course is for teachers who wish to teach in a Special Education School, especially dealing with visually handicapped children and children with learning disabilities. The test will consist of 85 multiple-choice questions based on (1) a General Intelligence/Ability test of 30 marks, (2) General Awareness of 30 marks, and (3) Teaching Aptitude of 25 marks.
