- Interview
Candidates who clear the Mains Exam are shortlisted for the Interview round conducted by IBPS. The Interview carries 100 marks, and to qualify, candidates must score at least 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
Final Selection
The final selection of candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) will be based on the combined performance in the Mains Examination and the Interview. The weightage of these two stages is in the ratio of 80:20 respectively. After the completion of the interview process, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will receive the appointment letter from the bank allotted to them.
