Eligibility Criteria For CLAT:

Eligibility criteria for CLAT differs a little for both UG and PG courses. Let’s see how:

UG courses: For students applying for under-graduate level need to fulfill the below mentioned obligations:

  • Age: Applicants must carry the age below 20 years. For SC/ST, it should be below 22 years.
  • Education: Applicant must pass 12th standard or equivalent degree from a govt. affiliated board with minimum 45% marks. For SC/ST, the pass percentage is 40%.

PG Courses: Students applying for post-graduate courses must fulfill the below mentioned requirements:

  • Age: No upper age limit for students appearing for PG courses.
  • Education: A LLB degree or equivalent degree from a govt. affiliated board is required with minimum 55% marks. For SC/ST, minimum qualifying percentage is 50%.

Nationality: For applicability into CLAT, aspirant can only be Indian or NRI.

CLAT Exam Pattern:

Total Marks: 200
Number of Questions: 200
Duration: 2 hours
Negative marking for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks will be cut.
